Whilst the unusually hot weather has been a welcome change to an often unpredictable summer, this has meant that the algae around the pool has grown at a faster rate than usual. The ants got in the bedding, into my clothes, including my trousers and i have now thanks to staying in this property had 'ants in my pants' - funny yes, not so funny when they bite you! I also had to remove an ant with a pair of tweezers when it bit me on my Achilles tendon and wouldn't let go....
We are always disheartened when we learn that a guest has not had an excellent experience with us. Reluctantly they got back to the owner, who like the other 1 star reviewer of this property finally offered me £200 as a gesture of goodwill. I rang Unique home stays on the Thursday to let them know how dissatisfied we were with the state of the pool and the ant infestations etc. We stayed at Guinivere for my husband’s 50th birthday, with our family and good friends.

This is because the very next day, Homestay.com emailed me to tell me her listing has been temporarily removed from their site and they will be happy to refund the booking fee. We are sorry you received no reply to the request you sent, and would always suggest you send three or four requests to different hosts to increase the likelihood of securing a booking. It is quite obvious that the properties are Unique not the clients renting them. Very disappointed with the service this time, we have had very good service over the years, however there is no one to actually complain to and therefore TA is the only access. It was a great stay and so I cannot recommend them enough. My only worry is what I choose for next year as they have so many lovely properties. We were lucky enough to use Unique Home Stays as part of our special weekend away in Cornwall.

The Cotton Tree looked beautiful on the website and was even more wonderful in real life. It was complete luxury for our family for the week. The house is practical whilst maintaining an amazing boho decor and we can´t wait to book again. They meet every owner and visit each home to ensure that each home will. After have trying to reach out to numerous homestays without respond I give up. Maybe you should reach out to the homestay hosts to ensure that they are actually still active/looking for tenants? I can imagine covid changed the circumstances for many families which might no longer actually want to host people for various reasons. Thanks a lot for this unforgettable stay in your fantastic home. Just from the first moment we knew that it would be a marvellous stay in Cornwall for the next 2 weeks. Your house was magic in every matter, the welcome basket, the very tasteful furnishing, the well equipped kitchen and the extremely impressive view to the beach. But most all, the very kind and warm support of Christina and Jonny will never be beaten. As a result, I've paid £550 a night for a property, when Airbnb and other booking sites have nearby properties for £550 a week. I expected the property to be absolutely Top Notch for that price - given it is a tiny one bedroom in Cornwall - but it is not.
Beautiful views on the most southern tip of the country, fantastic cliff walks with great restaurants nearby. If you are looking for a relaxing experience in a superb house and location in the UK, I recommend you try this. We made some lovely family memories at the Signal Station and I'll be booking again. I have booked with this company several times and each time there has been a horrendous problem.

When we returned home i contacted unique home stays & asked them to do something. I returned recently from a holiday at Stargazer, Modbury with my mother, my three children, my friend and her two children. The holiday was far below the standards I have come to expect from Unique Home Stays to the extent that not only was it not luxury, it did not even achieve basic levels of cleanliness. You are without doubt one of the best UK based holiday firms and the quality of your properties shows this.

That's really disappointing and it's even not legal. DUE A COVID RESTRICTION YOU HAVE TO REFUND ALL THE BOOKING MONEY. In March 2022 I had unpaid guests from the Homestay website - Homestay and guest did not transfer the payment for the accomodation to me.
The bathroom is compact but has a shower, a sink, and a toilet for your convenience. You can stay entertained while indoors by watching a show on the large flat-screen TV. With high-speed WiFi on the premises, you can easily keep up with work and update your socials. There is a barbecue grill and cozy outdoor seating amenities on the property for an intimate dinner.
We had a prompt response even though it was such short notice and great communication following. We stayed at Dragonwood, a boathouse by the lake. It was a wonderful place and we had a lovely time.
